Pokemon EVS
EVs on the site - besides HP - are treated as "special perks" instead, as we use a damage calculator during matches and do not actually wish to make it entirely TOO heavy on detail verses rp. They all have a cap, as well, to try and prevent abuse.HP HP stands for Hit Points. This is a standard rate of points that equal to the general health and stamina of the Pokemon. When a Pokemon's Hit Points goes down to 0, the Pokemon can no longer fight in a battle. Any extra damages incurred can result in serious and fatal injuries, especially even to death of a Pokemon.
Certain items can restore a Pokemon's HP. Some item can even increase it. These are enhancements that help to better protect a Pokemon. The Leveling & HP is a guide of how Pokemon gain new levels and gain HP per each leveling up.Defense & Special Defense Defense Points (DEF) and Special Defense Points (SPD) are ratios points that add better protection for the user from certain moves based upon the move type. Defense pertains to Normal, Fighting, Flying, Poison, Ground, Rock, Bug, Ghost, Steel, and Fairy type moves, whereas Special Defense pertains to Fire, Water, Ice, Grass, Electric, Psychic, Dark, and Dragon type moves.
Defense Points and Special Defense points are subtracted from the overall damage of the attack, after all plausible affects and damage points have been calculated for the move (damage calc. + opponent Pokemon's ATT/SPA points). Defense Points and Special Defense points cannot have more than +10 DEF or SPD - which maxes them out. Out of this, only +5 DEF or SPD can be through Iron or Zinc items.Attack & Special Attack Attack Points (ATT) and Special Attack Points (SPA) are ratios points that help deal more damage from the user from certain moves based upon the move type. Attack pertains to Normal, Fighting, Flying, Poison, Ground, Rock, Bug, Ghost, Steel, and Fairy type moves, whereas Special Attack pertains to Fire, Water, Ice, Grass, Electric, Psychic, Dark, and Dragon type moves.
Attack Points and Special Attack points are added from the overall damage of the attack and generally "boost" the effect of the attack. Attack Points and Special Attack points cannot have more than +10 ATT or SPA - which maxes them out. Out of this, only +5 ATT or SPA can be through Calcium or Protein items.Speed Speed is a unique identifier in a battle. Speed refers to the dodge ratio (SPE) of the Pokemon. Speed increases by 1% every 10th level naturally, but can be enhanced with certain items. Whereas some are temporary effects, some are permanent such as Carbos boosters. Every Pokemon with a 1% to 10% SPE has an overall dodge ratio allowance of one dodge per every four attacks, which means three out of four attacks result in a hit under normal circumstances. Additional perks - such as Carbos for a maximum of 10% dodge increase - can increase these odds.
Pokemon with a 11% to 20% dodge ratio have an overall dodge ratio allowance of one dodge per every three attacks, which means two our of three attack result in a hit under normal circumstances. A Pokemon maxes their dodge ratio out as 30%, and any Pokemon with a ratio of 21% to 30% has a dodge ratio allowance of one dodge per every two hits under normal circumstances.(BETA mode, some statistics may be tweaked and perfected for better gameplay)
